Dear Sherwoodians, it is nice to be with you once again if not in person, at least in writing. You are very fortunate to be a student of this temple of learning which emphasises on a strong foundation in accordance and active participation in activities. You may not realise it now as I did not when I studied here, but these activities help us to inculcate the virtues of punctuality, sincerity, reliability and honesty. These qualities go a long way in shaping your personality and the way you perceive things.

Sherwood has taught me to be so strong and optimistic that nothing can disturb my peace of mind one should look only on the sunny side of everything. Do your best and never worry about the rewards. Your efforts will judge the rewards you deserve. Be as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. We should forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. There is no short-cut to success - you as students must realize this spend so much time improving yourself that you have no time left to criticize others. Participation in co- curricular activities builds teamwork and petty issues like tension and temper take a backseat. Always remember, a student must always have a GOAL. To have a purpose in life is to already be on the way to achieving it. All the best in all your endeavours.
