I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence;
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by.
And that has made all the difference
... if you would ask me what is the difference that I have made that I am talking about, then here is the answer. Last year
when I was out of 10+2, I was in a fix as I did not know what to do after this.
This was the time when Principal Sir told me to take the field which I liked the best, he said, I would surely flourish in the
field by working hard.
True to his words, today after a year in my college I have scored merit in my first semester and I am expecting the same
in my second semester, too.
The confidence which I have today, was not built by myself. This was done by all my teachers who moulded me in such a
way that now I am able to withstand any hurdles which are posed to me .
I remember the time when I joined the school, I used to have a lot of stage fear. I literally used to tremble just to read a
thought.... I remember the day when, in 1994, Principal Sir asked me to act in a skit 'Sadak' which was to be played on
the Annual Day. Shiver went through my spine. But this was the activity which gave me the confidence I needed. The
show went off with a bang and everyone liked me as a statue of Mahatma Gandhi (I stood on the stage at one corner
without movement for almost 30 minutes) I had got the confidence.
